Department of Business Administration

About Department It gives me pleasure to welcome you in the department of business administration at AL-BALQA APPLIED UNIVERSITY. The department was founded in 1998-1999, and started to offer a bachelor degree in business administration since its inception. In 2012, the department began to offer a master degree in business administration. Also, in 2013 the department began to offer a master degree in human resource management.

The department also provides consultation and training services in various fields of business management for both public and private sectors locally as well as internationally. The department of business administration is also proud of its national reputation and its graduates who have distinguished themselves in key position throughout the nation, in the academic year 2012-2013, the number of students reaches (850).

Our vision in the department of business school is to aspire and assume a leading role in the field of Administrative sciences and to be a premier learning and research community that prepares students to be leaders in business environment in Jordan and region.

Mission

Our Mission is to serves business students by offering comprehensive, high quality, effective learning and workforce development opportunities to enable them to become more productive, responsible and effective in assuming their roles as managerial leaders in the future.

Objectives

• To provide students with an understanding of the major elements of the theory and practice of business administration.
• To prepare students to purse postgraduate studies.
• Offering quality programs of study that are generally updated, practical, excellent and labor market- oriented.
• Conducting quality and practically- oriented research / studies.
